- Years are labeled with Draco's year because that's what is canon, and so it's easier to keep track of events that way.
- Aïs is a year younger than Draco (and Harry).
2nd: Aïs arrives as a first year (and bonds with Luna Lovegood on the train). Aware of each other, but back-and-forth off-and-on sniping and vague alliances
Events - Draco being a bully. Aïs seeing through Harry and Ron's polyjuicing because they act weird and he pays attention. Aïs tells Draco he's a moron for playing up the possibility of being the Heir of Slytherin.
Summer: Oba-sey dies
3rd: Aïs is distant and withdrawn. Draco makes a shot at oba-sey. Aïs attacks, is stopped, oath is taken
Summer: Lae has new friends. Aïs breaks ties with him
4th: Goblet of Fire. Bitchy possessive Aïs, snipes at Harry, bottles all his feels. Snaps at Pansy. Draco confronts him and tells him he's breaking the oath. Aïs breaks down, but Draco pulls him out of it. Aïs tells Draco he's lost his home and any reason to return to the tribe. Draco decides to take Aïs home with him
Summer: Aïs stays at Malfoy Manor. Brotimes ensue. Aïs falls in love
5th: Umbridge. Draco has power, Aïs doesn't like her, so secretly trolls; he likes pissing her off, and it makes her tighten her hold so Draco gets more power, win/win. Aïs has cooled off, but is still possessive and creepy and awkward. This is addressed. Draco asks Aïs whether or not he fancies him. Aïs goes ??? and asks around to find out what it's like to fancy someone (starting with Luna). Pansy finds out and tries to verbally attack, but Aïs ignores her. In the end Aïs concludes that he fits the definition, so he must fancy Draco, and he tells him as such. Aïs accidentally creepers on Draco by walking in on him and Pansy when he's trying to find out where Draco went off to. Draco and Aïs have a Talk. Aïs realizes he's been clinging (in his own strange way) and confesses that if he stopped he would feel like his world would slip away from him. Draco tsuns. They proceed to be awkward while pretending nothing happened.
Summer: Aïs returns home for the summer (on Draco's suggestion, partly). Matures for having to take care of himself
6th: Draco tries pushing everyone away. Aïs pushes back and almost sabotages and reveals Draco's plans just by trying to get involved/get Draco to tell him wtf. Finally Draco has enough and corners him to demand what he wanted. Cue repetition of the oath. Aïs finds Draco in one of his moments of weakness, holds him, and leads him back to the common room. (He thinks confessing his feelings to Draco will just confuse him and shake up his emotions even more, which he does not need now.)
Summer: "Life sucks. Let's get drunk before you leave." Drunken makeouts. Aïs decides the next morning that he is not going home -- he won't leave Draco. But then Voldemort moves in and Narcissa orders him out, even after he tells her he isn't willing to leave Draco. He processes through several plans, including becoming an animagus to pose as a pet (not enough time) and joining the Death Eaters. When he tells Draco this plan, Draco becomes enraged and yells at him -- affirming in Aïs's mind that Draco *does* care for him. (Cue snogging.) In the end, Aïs does leave (but not without promises that Draco would visit), finds himself a place to stay, and vows to make sure Voldemort is killed. If Voldemort is keeping them apart, then he has to go.
7th: Aïs returns to school. Joins up with Dumbledore's Army -- Luna is his in. Everyone is surprised, but Aïs maintains that he wants Voldemort gone as much as anyone else. After Christmas break and a conversation with Draco re: polyjuice, Aïs doesn't return; he feels trapped there, that he isn't getting to do what he feels is necessary. Draco talks Aïs into staying put by giving him Dark curses to research (and he also studied how to be an Animagus).
> Harry Potter dies (a second and final time), leaving Voldemort triumphant.
Narcissa and Lucius Malfoy are thought to be killed. Aïs takes Draco and flees the country for his tribe in America. Draco must be kept on suicide watch, but Aïs uses his patience to his advantage to be Draco's steady rock.
Aïs maintains correspondence with Luna, who is still with the Resistance. He intends to work with them and make sure Voldemort is taken out of the picture, because he has caused far too much suffering and serves as an obstacle to Draco's happiness. For now, though, he will watch and wait for an opening.
Lae swings by the village, seems to reconnect with Aïs despite the awkward, but then comes back later with his new friends. Aïs begins parading Draco, trying to show off how happy he is now that someone else is the center of his world. Lae doesn't seem bothered. (Lae's friends try to help Draco feel better.) Aïs and Lae have a confrontation but Draco steps in when Aïs starts frothing at the mouth. Aïs apologizes and reigns himself back in for Draco's sake, then spends the night thinking over how to move on from Lae, as Draco suggested.
Next morning, Aïs wakes him with kisses and telling Draco Aïs is his, then offers to move their physical intimacy along. Draco doesn't know how to respond, and Aïs backs down.
Draco receives a letter from his father, who has become Minister of Magic (whoo puppet on the 'throne'). "Come home. Your mother needs you." Narcissa didn't die in front of Draco; she survived, which... turns out to be worse than death. By this point, Luna has been captured by Death Eaters -- luckily, Aïs taught her his language during school and so their letters can't be deciphered. He sends her an owl asking for confirmation about whether the Malfoys actually survived and receives it, as Narcissa has been imprisoned alongside Luna, who hasn't had a chance to let Aïs know yet.
Aïs approaches Draco (who has closed himself off and hasn't spoken to anyone but Aïs since his father's letter came) and informs him that his parents did, in fact, survive. He then suggests that they return to Britain, because if they do, that puts them in a prime position to move against Voldemort and put an end to this.
